The IND EX® Industry Safety Forum is ideally suited for both an introduction to the problems of explosion protection and for deepening existing knowledge. Richard Siwek

is President of IND EX® International Association of Experts for INDustrial EXplosion Protection e.V. Together, the more than sixty IND EX® members are involved in projects and activities to improve industrial explosion safety and a common safety standard.

Dr. Thomas Gmeinwieser

is Principal Expert Process Safety and Head of the Testing Laboratory at TÜV SÜD Process Safety, Basel. He has more than 20 years of experience in risk analysis, chemical reaction hazards, electrostatics, product safety and determination of safety characteristics. He is a member of various national and international committees in the field of process safety.

Dr. Marc Scheid

is COO of FireEx Consultant GmbH with over 20 years of experience in explosion protection in industry, federal authorities, and professional associations. Participation in expert committees on explosion protection such as Standardization, VDI, IVSS and BGN; speaker at BG RCI and DECHEMA; numerous publications on explosion protection.

Dr. Georg Suter

has been a member of the Scientific and Technical Committee of IND EX® e.V. since 2021. He is also a member of the development team of EXTOOLS®pro, the established formula kit for explosion prevention and protection.

Laslo Poljak

is the author of over 300 Hazardous Zones Analysis (Explosion Protection Documents), Fire Protection Projects, Numerous Expert Papers on EX Protection and Manual for the Transport of Dangerous Goods (ADR).

Andrea Vincenzi

is a Senior Consultant in Explosion Safety at REMBE® GmbH Safety+Control in Germany, where he has been instrumental in the development of the "Safety Scan" system for the survey and assessment of explosion risks at various industrial sites in Europe and worldwide. His role includes on-site support and evaluation as well as the preparation of a specific 'Explosion Safety Guide' unique to each plant profile based on the Atex Directives.

Matthias Welsch

is Key Account Manager Europe at IEP Technologies GmbH, more than 20 years in explosion protection; experienced system design engineer, application and product specialist for explosion venting, suppression and isolation solutions.

Aleksandar Agatonović

is CEO of the Swiss company RICO Sicherheitstechnik AG, which is the manufacturer of mechanical explosion isolation components (among others VENTEX® and REDEX Flap®). He has been active in the field of explosion protection for more than 15 years and has a wide application knowledge in mechanical explosion isolation for different industries and machines.

Alexander Heuberger

is CEO and General Manager of PROTEGO® Austria, Protego Armaturentechnik and Apparatetechnik GmbH for over 20 years. He has been very active in the field of plant safety and safeguarding of tanks for flammable liquids with the help of deflagration arresters, detonation arresters, endurance burning arresters or liquid seals.

Žiga Rozman

is Product and Business Development Manager at TRM Filter, a company that in-house develops and manufactures advanced air filtration solutions primarily for the pharmaceutical, fine chemical and battery industries. Prior to joining TRM Filter, Žiga started his career as a fire protection engineer in the UK and then worked as a process safety expert for pharmaceutical companies such as Krka and Novartis. He has more than 10 years of experience in explosion protection and wider safety field.
