  Server log files:
  We automatically collect and store information in the log files that your browser automatically transmits to us when you visit our website. This information or data is technically necessary in order to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security. These data are:

• You can register as a member via our website. As a member, you can actively participate in the implementation of new safety standards in explosion protection worldwide. We offer you the option of full or partial membership. When registering, the mandatory information marked with * must be provided in full. Otherwise we will reject your registration.   When you download our mobile apps (e.g. EXTOOLS®mobile), certain personal data required for the download are transmitted to the relevant app store (e.g. Apple App Store or Google Play). In particular, the e-mail address, the user name, the customer number of the downloading account, the individual device identification number, payment information and the time of the download are transmitted to the App Store during the download. We have no influence on the collection and processing of this data; the processing is carried out exclusively by the app store you have selected. Accordingly, we are not responsible for this collection and processing; the App Store is the sole Controller.

  Data collected when using our apps:

  We can only provide you with the benefits of our apps if we collect certain data required for the operation of the app when you use it. We collect and process the following data from you:

  • Device information: The data includes the IP address, device ID, device type, device-specific settings and app settings as well as app properties, the date and time of the retrieval, time zone the amount of data transferred and the message as to whether the data exchange was complete, app crash, browser type and operating system. In all other cases, the legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest in the processing then lies in responding to your enquiry. Your data will be deleted as soon as your request has been dealt with, provided that no statutory retention periods apply.
