IND EX® Safety Congress 2011 | Nuremberg, Germany - the review
The association IND EX® looks back to the 2nd IND EX® Safety Congress in Nuremberg | Germany on October 11 + 12, 2011. In parallel to the international known trade fair POWTECH took place at the Congress Center Nuremberg. We have pleasant memories at the debut of the IND EX® Safety Congress in 2010. Nobody of the organization team and the IND EX® members knew if the concept would work at all. Meanwhile the second successful congress passed, reports Stefan Penno, President of IND EX®. Meanwhile the IND EX® Safety Congress on industrial explosion protection became a vital part of the bulk material fair POWTECH. Nearly 100 EXperts from all over Europe as well as delegates from Brazil, USA, Hong Kong and Australia have been part of this year´s congress.
More than 20 speakers convinced by practical lectures with scientific backgrounds. The live explosion demonstrations illustrated impressively the power of an explosion and that the consequences for people, machinery, and environment shall not to be underestimated. With the motto EXperts for experts
the association presented itself to the professional audience and is already established on the international level.
We have a huge network that covers all facets and intersections of industrial explosion protection. Of course new members are always welcome - especially the industry for developing more custom-tailored solutions and approaches,
says Vice President Dr. Dirk Oberhagemann. Oberhagemann continues: The newly acquired members also motivate us in our behaviors and encourage us by their actions and events to lead the way.
Very pleased with the resume is the organizing team: We are very delighted with the positive response. In particular, participants highlighted the networking opportunities during breaks and evening events. Already during the first congress day IND EX® received several membership applications, so that the association is continually growing

The next IND EX® Safety Congress will take place in 2013 – certainly, parallel to POWTECH in Nuremberg. Of course, there are several events all over the world in 2012. You get the possibility to meet the EXperts of IND EX® in Germany, India, Thailand, China, Poland, UK, Singapore and the USA.
