How can current explosion protection requirements be implemented safely and in a practical manner? What insights can help address specific challenges in day-to-day operations? The 2027 Explosion Protection Conference, taking place on April 27 and 28 in Braunschweig, will provide answers to these questions.
Under the guiding principle “EXpertise, Insights, and Experience,” the conference brings together experts to share the latest knowledge, learn about new approaches, and exchange practical experiences.
The program addresses key topics in explosion protection—ranging from current regulatory developments to the practical application of IEC 60079-14 and special requirements for handling explosive substances. Other focal points include the use of flame arresters in exhaust ducts, explosion protection in the animal feed industry, and maintenance concepts for inerting systems.
In addition to the technical presentations, the focus is on personal exchange and practical application. Interactive marketplaces provide a space to learn about and discuss potential solutions. During Business Speed Dating, individual questions arising from day-to-day operations can be discussed directly with fellow experts. The practice-oriented topic of explosion hazards under non-atmospheric conditions is also part of the conference program. VDSI continuing education credits are available for the conference and technical seminars.
Registration opens on October 12, 2026. Those who register by December 31, 2026, will benefit from the early-bird rate of 690 euros instead of the regular price of 890 euros. Take this opportunity to expand your expertise, gain new insights for your work, and network with experts and colleagues in the field.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2027 Explosion Protection Conference in Braunschweig!
