Marius Bloching studied safety engineering at the University of Wuppertal. After his scientific work in fire and explosion protection for process equipment at the chair "Methods of Safety Engineering / Accident Research", he dealt with the topic of geometry dependency of explosion venting devices as the first master student of IND EX®.
He joined REMBE® in 2016 and is currently Corporate Senior Engineer, responsible for the scientific / physical background for certifications. Marius is a member of the DIN and CEN standardization committee for explosion protection systems. He is also involved in design procedures for explosion venting and isolation. Especially he focuses on pressure relief of special applications like gas applications, thermal runaway and arc flash discharges.
